Rafael Orantes

Biography

Rafael has more than 5 years of experience focusing his practice in Litigation. He has worked mainly in the areas of Civil, Commercial and Administrative Law.

He has provided assistance in civil litigation proceedings of Multiple Purpose Financial Companies and Credit Institutions. He has also advised in the areas of civil, commercial and family litigation, working in administrative proceedings and assisting, among others, private schools in Mexico City and other entities.

Rafael holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Diploma in Administrative Law from the same university.

Experience

• Represented Getman Corporation, a global supplier of mobile equipment, with over 65 years of experience in customer-focused solutions for the underground mining industry, in a dispute brought by a former distributor in Mexico, alleging the breach of an exclusive distribution agreement.
• Execution of legal actions that INFONAVIT has undertaken in various states of the country, through the 1972-2007 Title Deed Program, as well as other civil and commercial proceedings.
