Biography

María Fernanda has more than four years of experience in commercial litigation and bankruptcy, representing the interest of both insolvent companies and creditors. Moreover, she has experience in anti-corruption and anti-money laundering. She is certificed by the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (Mexican securities authority) as compliance officer for the financial sector. She has completed diplomas in both anti-corruption and bankruptcy.

María Fernanda holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

 

Experience

  • Represented Landsteiner Scientific, one of Mexico's largest and most important pharmaceutical companies, in obtaining a financing agreement.
  • Represented national and foreign clients to obtain before Mexican Couts interim relive measures for the protection of their interests.
  • Represented a financial sector client as a creditor in a bankruptcy procedure, obtaining satisfactory results for such client.
  • Participated in the corporate and judicial strategy of a shareholders conflict of a hydrocarbon sector company, obtaining an attractive deal for the client.
