Maria Elena has focused her practice on civil and commercial proceedings before the Mexican Courts, as well as national arbitrations and bankruptcy proceedings.

María Elena holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

• Assisted on several clients as secured creditors against Aviacsa, to regain possession of several aircrafts.
• Advised on several insolvency & restructuring procedures.
• Collaborated and monitored the bankruptcy process of Hipotecaria Su Casita.
