Biography

Jessica is a litigation attorney with over 22 years of professional experience, focusing on civil, commercial and agrarian litigation. For the last 12 years, she operated as a public servant for the Federal Mexican government at the Instituto para Devolver al Pueblo lo Robado (INDEP), formerly known as Servicio de Administración y Enajenación de Bienes (SAE). Here, she participated in the process of liquidating the assets of Luz y Fuerza del Centro. Additionally, she acted as a legal consultant for INDEP, an institution with oversight of companies assigned by the Prosecutor General's Office of Mexico (Fiscalía General de la República).

Jessica holds a law  degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, with a specialization in Civil Law from the same university.

 

Experience

  • Represented Getman Corporation, a global supplier of mobile equipment, with over 65 years of experience in customer-focused solutions for the underground mining industry, in a dispute brought by a former distributor in Mexico, alleging the breach of an exclusive distribution agreement.
  • Leverages her professional experience by coordinating judicial activity deployed by INFONAVIT within several states in Mexico. In regard to this judicial activity, she focuses on the reduction of a high volume of historical delays for mortgage deed transactions.
