Biography

Flora is a lawyer with experience in diplomatic relations in Costa Rica, France, United Kingdom, United States, and Montreal, Canada. She concentrates her activity on linking the firm to international clients. She worked a corporate lawyer at F.A. Arias and Muñoz, Costa Rica. Her studies in Mexico and Paris II, ASSAS, concentrated in Genetics and Intellectual Property motivate her interest in the challenges technology introduces to the legal field. She was directly elected as Coordinator of the Citizen Committee in Coyoacán, Mexico City. She promoted the development of the Mexican international legal profession as National Administrator of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She complemented her development with research activities within the LLM system at Harvard Law School and the Institute of Legal Research of the UNAM. In her professional development, she has been involved with philanthropy institutions in several countries and in the promotion of the social economy.
