PCG works hand in hand with Doopla, the first person-to-person lending platform to be endorsed by the CNBV. PCG reinforces its commitment to continue supporting the Fintech ecosystem.
Mexico City, February 08, 2021.- Taking the current context as a framework, the firm Pérez Correa González (PCG), led by partner Fernando Eraña advised the crowdfunding platform, Doopla, to become the first direct person-to-person lending platform to be authorized by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) to operate as a Financial Technology Institution. The authorization must be published in the Official Journal of the Federation so that Doopla can finally operate as a Fintech for crowdfunding. "This news is very encouraging, as it directly benefits consumers of financial services and serves a niche that is often neglected by traditional banks. Doopla, led by Juan Carlos Flores, has granted close to $250 million pesos in loans since its foundation and currently has more than 9 thousand active investors.
